About the role:

Role is to strategic drive the product category in terms of vendor association, cost
management, timely and quality assurance. It also focuses upon team and category
management to ensure Bizongo remains the best option for buyers to buy packaging
products from.


Key responsibilities:

  • Handling success team (responsible for order fulfilment majorly) and relations team (responsible for new vendor association majorly).
  • Research and understand the supplier network and getting right vendors to be on boarded.
  • Standard cost model adherence and continue to evolve it.
  • Implement quantifiable method to implement Share of business across vendors, clients and material sub-category.
  • Vendor Management – identify parameters and device method to implement it and improvise on it.
  • Implement quantifiable method to implement Share of business across vendors, clients and material sub-category.
  • Develop pipeline of cost savings projects
  • Conducting regular business reviews and keep account health (on time delivery, quality failure, NPS) at desired level.
  • Identify ways to improve Working Capital - Credit period enhancement, bill discounting and Inventory Management.
  • Spend analysis across sub-categories.
  • Implement vendor contracts and constantly review them
  • Hiring, nurturing and building the best team
  • Annual budgeting

Job Requirements:

  • Good leadership skills with structured thinking, having previous experience in handling teams.
  • Candidate should have very deep knowledge and previous experience in packaging products, majorly in the category that he/she will be handling.
  • Fast learning, networking and researching skills, high energy levels, ability to meet defined targets, sound understanding of business principles.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal with strong presentation skills.
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office and should be inclined towards Data Analytics.
